The language of the congress is English. Therefore, all abstracts and presentations will be in English. The abstract should include no more than 200 words.
The abstract should include Aim/Purpose, Patients/Material and Method, Results, and Conclusion sections.
All presentations (with voice) must be submitted electronically 2 weeks before the meeting. The slides can be presented for 5 minutes, recorded and sent to the congress. The uploaded presentations may be considered for publication in JPUROL. All presenters must register before the meeting (during submission of presentation).
All abstracts submitted to the congress are evaluated in a blind review process by the Congress Scientific Committee using a standardized evaluation form.
In order to ensure impartiality, reviewers within the committee are not permitted to view abstracts submitted by themselves or by the institutions with which they are affiliated, nor can they access the evaluation results of other reviewers.
To maintain anonymity, authors are required to ensure that their abstracts do not contain any information that could compromise the blind review process (e.g., institution/center or country/city names). Abstracts that fail to meet this requirement will not be considered for evaluation.
Abstracts are scored based on the level of scientific contribution to the literature, study type, the quality of content and preparation, and quality of language.
Abstracts accepted for presentation are also evaluated during the congress by reviewers in terms of presentation performance. Reviewers conduct a second assessment based on adherence to the allotted presentation time, slide preparation, presentation skills of the speaker, command of the subject matter, and consistency between the submitted abstract and the presentation.
As a result of this two-stage evaluation, the best presentation awards are determined, with 70% of the total score derived from the abstract evaluation and 30% from the presentation performance.
